Description

This course is organized around the social-ecological framework that looks at violence as existing within both a personal and an ecological context. The latter term, introduced by Bronfenbrenner, refers to the interaction of persons and social structures existing at several levels: family and primary social networks and intermediate social ecologies, such as schools and communities, as well as cultural and community contexts.
