Description

This course examines Indigenous Education in Manitoba public schools, with a particular focus on incorporating Indigenous perspectives in curriculum as mandated by the Manitoba Department of Education. This course begins with an examination of historical experiences and contemporary realities of Indigenous Peoples in Canada and builds upon that understanding in the exploration of practical strategies, programs, and a curriculum appropriate for Indigenous students.

Restrictions

Only Post-Baccalaureate Diploma in Education students may take this course.
