Description
This course provides a comprehensive overview of the profession of school counselling. It provides students with an overview and general understanding of (1) historical perspectives and current activities of counsellors, (2) the role and function of counsellors in a variety of settings, (3) techniques utilized by counsellors, (4) multicultural considerations in counselling, (5) organization of counselling programs, and (6) legal and ethical guidelines.
