Description
This course introduces student teachers to the curriculum, instruction, and assessment for teaching Physics at the Grades 9, 10, and 11 levels. The course introduces a wide variety of teaching strategies and resources to assist student teachers in their conceptual development and understanding of physics and places an emphasis on practical laboratory work and student activities. The course examines the Physics Curriculum modules of Electricity and Astronomy in Grade 9, Motion in Grade 10, and the Physics units of Waves, Nature of Light, Mechanics, and Fields in Grade 11.
