Description
This course introduces students to the curriculum, instruction, and assessment for teaching Chemistry at the secondary level. It presents a wide variety of teaching strategies and resources that assist learners in their conceptual development and understanding of chemistry and places an emphasis on practical lab work and student activities. It includes an examination of the Chemistry Curriculum modules in Grade 9 Science (Atoms and Elements) and Grade 10 Science (Chemistry in Action) and the Grade 11 Chemistry Curriculum.
