Description
Instruction & Assessment: English Language Arts 1 (4 hrs Lecture) The purpose of this course is to introduce pre-service teachers to the current trends, issues, materials, and methods in developing an effective early-years balanced literacy program, spanning Kindergarten to Grade 4, as supported by research. It provides them with foundational knowledge, theory, experience, and continuous assessment practices of students' learning in early-years literacy instruction.
