Description
This course introduces students to the theory and practice relative to creating and managing an effective learning environment. Students examine relevant developments in classroom management, conflict resolution, and community building in the classroom. This course focuses on factors that influence student and teacher behaviors and those that can produce an optimal learning environment for all. Additionally, this course examines teacher identity and presence and the impact of these on learning and behaviors in the classroom.
