Description

This course examines the inner city, its issues and its characteristics, with a balanced and contextualized approach, including the issue of equality versus equity. The role of education and educators in regards to meeting the specific needs and challenges of learners in the inner-city context are studied, particularly in respect to constructive community building and helpful approaches that create positive results.
