Description

This course introduces Elementary (K to 8) After-Degree students to the theory which underlies the teaching and learning process. Students examine age-appropriate teaching and learning strategies, methods of differentiated instruction, positive classroom-learning environments, and the fundamentals of instructional design and assessment in lesson and unit planning. Teaching and learning is further examined within the context of Manitoba and Canadian educational issues and philosophies of education.
