Description

This course introduces students to composition, paedagogy, and performance through the use of lectures, demonstrations, and practical application. Composition: fundamental concepts of choreography; improvisation as a basis for choreographic development. Paedagogy: introduction to kinesiological principles and technical and artistic analysis. Performance: analysis of the rehearsal and performance experience. The classes for this course are scheduled over two terms.
