Description
This course will present an introduction to the theory and methods of conflict resolution, with special emphasis on conflict in educational settings. The course will help students to understand the nature of human conflict, responses to conflict, and models for constructive ways to deal with conflict between and among individuals and groups. Topics will include anger, power, creative dimensions of conflict, and mediation. These will be examined from an interdisciplinary perspective.
