Description
All Classics Honours students must complete the thesis as part of their degree requirements. This is normally undertaken in the final year of the degree. Students wishing to enrol in this course must consult the Chair of the Department of Classics well in advance of registration to determine the thesis topic. The Chair, in consultation with the faculty, assigns each thesis candidate a supervisor, under whose guidance the thesis is completed. Students are expected to meet regularly with their supervisors. At each meeting, progress towards completion must be demonstrated.
