Description
This course is an introduction to the use of research design and qualitative methods in the social sciences, with an emphasis on criminal justice. Students are introduced to research design and qualitative methods. Topics covered include the use of different research perspectives and strategies, interviewing and ethnography, ethics, indigenous and oral history approaches, and techniques of data analysis. This course is required for majors and honours students.
