Description
This course provides students with knowledge of the emerging field of social finance through case study analysis and development. Students discuss the social impact and financial performance measures within the co-operative enterprises model. This includes the strategies that firms must implement in order to ensure that shareholders, stakeholders, and the recipients of the social outcomes are all included in the assessment of the firm's performance. Students are introduced to the concept of impact investing through readings and in-class discussions.
