Description
This course provides a critical introduction to the roles, effects, and relationships of business on society, including individuals, governments, shared beliefs, and political authority. This course offers historic context and ongoing developments to understand current direct and indirect impacts of both small businesses and corporations on society. Emphasis is placed on relating course material to current events while offering important historical development and context, particularly when considering forces such a globalization. Course delivery is by discussion, lecture, and some videos, and is supported by Nexus.
