Description
This is a core course designed to convey the essentials of archaeological method and theory as they relate to each other. Theoretical and procedural trends are examined to illuminate the nature of contemporary archaeological research. Selected findings of this research are reviewed in accord with the major concepts of archaeology and development of the methodologies employed.
