Description
This course explores the role of data warehouses in supporting decision-making in organizations. Topics include definition of a data warehouse; extracting, cleansing, and transforming data; building and maintaining the warehouse; meta data; dimensional analysis and multidimensional modeling; multidimensional data structures; Star schemas; OLAP (On Line Analytical Processing); drilling down and across; and web deployment.
